Manchester City 3-0 Manchester United: Hemp finds the net in City dominant win.

Much like the recent storm hit the northwest the night before, Manchester City blew United away at the Etihad. It was a convincing 3-0 victory for the City coach's side owing to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a result that truly announced their leadership claims as they consolidated their place at the league summit.

This outcome signalled successive Women's Super League defeats for Marc Skinner’s side for the maiden instance since spring 2024, placing them a significant margin off the league leaders with their title hopes hanging by a thread.
